Neuroscience of Culture

Week 10

Who is it for?

The Brain Power Series is a weekly series of online neuroscience workshops available to all NSW based startups, scaleups, sole traders, freelancers and small businesses.

Workshop Description

Culture is a highly persuasive structure that heavily influences human behaviour. Organisations spend countless hours on culture, yet often without fully understanding the neurological foundations of behaviour which govern how human cultures are created. How an invisible item can  be so influential and powerful when it comes to decision-making, behaviour and performance (individual and group).

Vitae’s Neuroscience of Culture online workshop seeks to shed some neurological light onto the cognitive underpinnings of what makes and breaks an organisational culture. Throughout this session we’ll be sharing a number of neurotools and hacks to help individuals and teams avoid common cultural pitfalls and build resilient, effective and outcome-focussed cultures.

 At this workshop, you'll learn:

  • neuroscience of culture

  • neurotools to encourage collaborative behaviours

  • neurohacks to foster productive and inclusive cultures

By the end of this 45min online workshop, you’ll have a number of neurohacks and tools to help individuals and teams create a productive, collaborative, resilient and inclusive culture.

Like all NSW supported, and Vitae delivered workshops, we provide digital workbooks to all attendees containing all the neurotools, hacks and frameworks covered in each session. This workshop is delivered digitally by Vitae’s CEO and Co-Founder, Shelley Laslett.
