Neuroscience of Confidence

Week 6

Who is it for?

The Brain Power Series is a weekly series of online neuroscience workshops available to all NSW based startups, scaleups, sole traders, freelancers and small businesses.

Workshop Description

Ever get a bit nervous before a pitch or presentation? Or is it a bit more than a bit nervous? Are you secretly wishing you didn’t have to pitch or present in front of an audience at all? We hear you. Speaking in front of a group (big or small) in an eloquent, confident, and impactful way isn’t always easy. But it can be. By using the cheapest and most powerful tool you have — your brain.

Vitae’s Neuroscience of Confidence session gives you all the tools - neurohacks - you and your brain needs to tackle common confidence rocking mistakes.

During this session we’ll cover:

  • Basic principles of the brain (conscious and unconscious mind)

  • How to diffuse the stress you feel about public speaking and pitching

  • How to neurologically boost your confidence to nail your pitch/presentation

  • How to develop ‘softer’ personal presentation style and why it neurologically matters

By the end of this 45-minute online workshop, you’ll have trained your brain to kick those nerves to the curb, and boosted your confidence to deliver an impactful and impressionable TEDx worthy presentation.

Like all NSW supported, and Vitae delivered workshops, we provide digital workbooks to all attendees containing all the neurotools, hacks and frameworks covered in each session. This workshop is delivered digitally by Vitae’s CEO and Co-Founder, Shelley Laslett.
